Robyn was recently sponsored a dinner and a case of wine from KWV. Those of you that know Robs will know she’s not 100% comfortable cooking. Luckily for us, and me, I’m dating V who is unbelievably talented in the kitchen. She took some of the kitty and cooked up what was quite possibly, the best meal I have ever had.
The meal included:
Starter: Sweet corn valoute with basil oil
Mains: Venison served with mash, a blackberry and brandy reduction, and baby vegetables in a ‘A la grecque’ vinaigrette.
Dessert: Plum and port tart with mascarpone.
A huge big thanks to Vibeke for cooking the amazing meal and Robs for all her work in setting an awesome dinner and bringing yummo wine.
Granted there are not many food pics, but taking photos of food is still an art I’m looking to learn.
